The South Rises Again, by Falling

Vice Media joins with Google Earth to explore and document the remaining 1,503 Confederate monuments still standing in the United States. With the data and content collected, an interactive, real time map and visual/video timeline will be created to track the fall of each monument— and the impact the removal has on the community. Collected content will be available across social and digital platforms, print/tv ads will drive to digital platforms, and an interactive map app will also be available for download, sending notifications and documentation as each monument falls.
