Kayla Tully worked for me for 3 years. Through my time working with her, she demonstrated many wonderful skills that are transferable to any industry. Kayla could adapt to all thrown at her with a cool head and ease that really set her apart.
Two things set Kayla apart more than anything else. Kayla’s integrity was second to none. She was immediately brought into our group’s inner circle for her fiber. She was vocal, honest and dedicated to herself, her clients and her team. This was very important to us. The other great quality that Kayla brought for us was leadership. In an environment where it was long running team members, many over the 10-year mark, Kayla set herself up to be a director within less than a year. This was quite unheard of. She effectively commanded the respect of so many folks that were much older than her. She did it through consistent hard work and having solutions rather than problems. The “director” role meant that she was managing and leading events with a number of different team members, hosts, and assistants under her. She was responsible for planning and executing timelines, assist in the negotiation and execution of contracts, and closing deals with a smile. The job as one of our directors was to initiate and crush the sale while being the face of our establishment to long running and new clients that ranged from local folks to leaders of many top global industries. Our venue hosted many international events and guests.
